Laviscount & Paige Topline Tyler Perry’s ‘Confabulation

Lucien Laviscount and Taylour Paige will topline Tyler Perry’s Confabulation, a Netflix thriller written and directed by Perry, with Shamier Anderson in a key role, Deadline and Media Play News reported.

The film follows a firefighter haunted by his past and struggling with what is real as he risks everything to rescue his high school sweetheart from her powerful husband, only for the truth to unravel in a twist that questions what is memory and what is confabulation. Media Play News identifies Laviscount as the firefighter, Paige as the woman he once loved, and Anderson as her husband.

Supporting cast listed by Deadline includes Nadine Ellis, Peter Parros, Najah Bradley, Mikeal Dwayne Griggs, Jenna Nolen, Michelle Nñez, Colin McCalla, and Shelley Robertson. Perry is producing with Angi Bones and Tony L. Laviscount is best known as Alfie on Emily in Paris, which returns for a sixth and final season on Christmas Eve; Paige’s recent credits include Boots Rileys I Love Boosters and HBOs It: Welcome to Derry. No Netflix release date for Confabulation has been announced.
