Lindsay Lohan Recreates Mean Girls Oct. 3 Scene With Mark Waters

The 2004 film — written by Tina Fey and co-starring Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried as the Plastics — remains a durable quote machine online, USA TODAY notes, with lines like “You go, Glen Coco,” “Stop trying to make fetch happen,” and “I want my pink shirt back!” still circulating alongside the Oct. 3 ritual. Lohan’s choice to bring Waters into frame rather than restaging alone turns a fan holiday into a working-reunion beat tied to Return to You, while Bennett’s Instagram reply closes a light cast-circle loop without requiring a full on-camera reunion.

For readers following celebrity social moments on Daily News, the verified Oct. 3 picture is straightforward: Lohan restaged the calendar line with Waters; the clip ran across major platforms; view and like counts cited by USA TODAY put it in the multi-million range within hours; and the pair’s Netflix romance remains the live professional context behind the meme. No unverified box-office claims or invented dialogue beyond the dual wire accounts of the posted video are included here.
