That structure stops short of a conventional acquisition: Apple does not own Huxe outright, but it gains the right to offer jobs to staff and to use the underlying technology. Huxes headline feature was automatically generated audio that sounded like a podcast. AppleInsider said Huxe also let users interrupt the generated podcast to ask for clarification or change topics, and it offered spoken summaries of selected news or of a users day drawn from email and calendar context.

The timing of the public disclosure is unusual. AppleInsider reported that the EU record lists the deal as completed in June 2026, after Huxe announced in May that it was winding down. Weve made the decision to wind down Huxe, a notice on the companys site said, according to AppleInsider. The team is moving on to new things, and we wont be continuing development of the product. The Oct. 9 coverage reflects the filing becoming visible, not a brand-new product launch.

Apple has been expanding its own podcast surface adding transcripts, a web player and, more recently, video podcast support while stacking Apple Intelligence features across its devices. That backdrop makes Huxes prompt-to-podcast tooling an obvious research and product fit, even if Apple has not announced any consumer feature tied to the license. AppleInsider also pointed out that Huxes LinkedIn presence listed only about five employees, and none publicly listed a move to Apple as of the articles publication.

The podcast industry has been wary of synthetic hosts. Edison Research survey work highlighted in recent trade roundups found that a majority of weekly podcast consumers reacted negatively to the idea of an AI version of a favorite host. Apples deal does not put an AI host on any existing show; it is a technology and talent arrangement that could feed future Apple Podcasts or Apple Intelligence experiments.

Beyond the headline names, the 2026 edition expands into Snap, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Rumble, Substack publishers, agencies, studios, payment tools and AI production software, both outlets noted. Whats Trending highlighted indie creators operating like compact media companies and studios such as Barstool Sports, Mythical, pocket.watch and Dhar Mann Studios as evidence that creator-led entertainment now competes with traditional media infrastructure.

The through line is that follower count alone no longer defines influence. A channel with enormous reach can underperform on affinity, while a smaller creator with a responsive audience can deliver stronger commercial and cultural impact. Drishyam 2 (2022) finished its India run at Rs 239.67 crore nett, both reports said, so the third film is already the highest earner in the franchise on the domestic nett chart. India Today said the next career benchmark in Devgns lead filmography is Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020), which holds Rs 279.59 crore nett in India. The Indian Express likewise described Drishyam 3 as Devgns second-highest lead grosser so far behind Tanhaji, while noting RRR remains larger overall but featured him only in an extended guest role.

The Pathak-directed thriller opened Oct. 2, a Gandhi Jayanti holiday, and posted a career-best opening for Devgn. Neither outlet treated the Week 1 totals as final lifetime numbers; both stressed that Dussehra-week competition from mid-October could reshape the long tail.

Jon M. Chu, who directed the film, will executive produce through Electric Somewhere. Eight years ago, Crazy Rich Asians changed my life, Chu said in a statement carried by Variety and the BBC. He said the cast had since become movie stars, superheroes, arena-filling performers and even an Oscar winner, and that bringing everyone back together feels like coming home.

Wu and Golding will reprise Rachel Chu and Nick Young, Chieng returns as Eddie Cheng, and Yeoh will again play Nicks mother, Eleanor, the BBC reported. Kwan, whose trilogy began with Crazy Rich Asians in 2013 and continued with China Rich Girlfriend and Rich People Problems, said he was thrilled the family was getting back together and that fans had been patiently waiting, Variety reported.

Pillay, 85, was born in Durban to a family of Indian Tamil origin under apartheid, the Nobel Committee said. She became a lawyer defending activists who opposed the system, including work linked to Nelson Mandela and other anti-apartheid figures, and later served on South Africas High Court. UN News noted that she was the first non-white woman to establish a legal practice in the country and helped establish key rights for prisoners on Robben Island.

Her international judicial career includes service as a judge and president of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, a judge on the International Criminal Court, and United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2008 to 2014, according to the Nobel release and UN News. She later chaired the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory and is an ad hoc judge on the International Court of Justice in the case concerning Myanmar and the Rohingya, the committee said.

At the Rwanda tribunal, Pillay helped establish that rape and sexual violence could constitute a crime against humanity and genocide, and that spreading propaganda could support charges of incitement to commit genocide, the Nobel press release said. Current UN human rights chief Volker Türk congratulated her and said the award was particularly poignant at a time when human rights are under attack, UN News reported.

Pillay was attending the Nuremberg Forum in Germany when the prize was announced, CBC reported. Speaking to reporters there, she said she still wanted to verify the honour being a judge and a lawyer, and that she wanted to see the Myanmar ICJ case through to its conclusion. South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa congratulated her, calling the prize a tribute to her courage, integrity and lifelong commitment to justice, CBC said.

Directed by Assam filmmaker Bhargav Saikia in his feature debut and written by debutant screenwriter and executive producer Harsh Vaibhav, Bokshi blends folk horror, mystery and coming-of-age elements. The story follows Anahita, a troubled teenager whose school trek to a remote prehistoric site draws her toward an ancient legend as myth and reality begin to converge. NorthEast Now noted that Saikia, from Biswanath Chariali in Assam, shot the film extensively in Sikkim, grounding the supernatural premise in Himalayan locations.

Bisht leads the cast alongside Mansi Multani and Siddharth Shaw, while Shernaz Patel voices the titular character. The multilingual film uses Hindi, English and Nepali dialogue plus Boksirit, a fictional language created for the production by Dutch linguist Jan van Steenbergen, Bollywood Hungama reported. Saikia also produces under the Lorien Motion Pictures banner, keeping creative control close to the northeast filmmaking team that developed the project.

No further certification hurdles were reported after the Revising Committee clearance. The numbers explain why Spotify wanted to keep the show. Spotify said The Joe Rogan Experience has 18 million followers on its platform and has been the most-followed show there since the partnership began. It was the No. 1 most-listened-to podcast on Spotify, YouTube and Apple Podcasts in 2025, Variety reported, and The Hollywood Reporter noted that it has been the most-listened-to podcast in the U.S. since 2019, according to Edison Research. Since launching in December 2009, the show has produced more than 2,500 episodes, each averaging two to three hours, per Variety.

The relationship has changed shape over the years. The show arrived on Spotify in September 2020 and later became exclusive to the platform, before Rogans 2024 deal ended that exclusivity and returned the podcast to wide distribution, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter reported. Crunchyroll said the division will work with Japanese creators to preserve and center the original creative vision of each property. Cartoon Brew reported that the initiative brings together Crunchyroll, Aniplex, Sony Pictures and Japanese creative partners.

Iokibe will report to Crunchyroll Chief Content Officer Asa Suehira. According to Deadline, Iokibe has recently led intellectual property initiatives connecting Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions. Suehira said in a statement that the new division will build a creative bridge between Japan and storytellers around the world. The new division builds on Sonys consolidation of its anime business. Sony closed its roughly $1.2 billion acquisition of Crunchyroll in 2021 and combined it with Funimation, and the streaming service passed 21 million subscribers earlier this year, both outlets reported. Cartoon Brew noted that Crunchyroll has since expanded across streaming, theatrical distribution, merchandise and events. Industry watchers see the labelâs existing fan base as an advantage. According to ChosunBiz, the view in the industry is that Goodai can lean on an established fandom to reduce the cost of launching a new brand while drawing early buzz, and Seoul Economic Daily said the partners aim to run PEACEMINUSONE BEAUTY as an independent, long-term brand rather than a one-off collaboration. Patekar was found unconscious at his home in the early hours of Thursday, the BBC reported. âDespite 45 minutes of continuous CPR, he could not be revived,❠Dr. Shekhar Salkar of Manipal Hospital in Goa told the ANI news agency, and Variety, citing ANI, said he was declared dead at 5:20 a.m. local time. Salkar said Patekar had suffered a cardiac arrest but that it was not clear what had triggered it, according to the BBC. A medico-legal case has been registered and a post-mortem will follow, according to Variety and The Indian Express.

The Maharashtra government said Patekar will receive a funeral with full state honors. Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar announced the decision on X, citing Patekarâs contribution to Marathi theater and to Marathi and Hindi cinema, The Indian Express reported, adding that, according to PTI, the last rites were expected at his farmhouse in Puneâs Donje area. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote that Patekarâs characters would âremain etched in the memory of generations,❠the BBC reported.

Born Vishwanath Patekar, he began on stage before making his film debut in âGaman❠in 1978, according to Variety, which noted early roles including Mira Nairâs âSalaam Bombay!❠His breakthrough came as a crime lord in âParinda❠(1989), which earned him a National Film Award for best supporting actor and a Filmfare award. He went on to direct and star in âPrahaar: The Final Attack❠(1991).

âKrantiveer❠(1994) brought him the National Film Award for best actor, and âAgni Sakshi❠(1996) a second supporting-actor National Award, Variety reported. His career also drew controversy: harassment allegations by actor Tanushree Dutta, first made in 2008 and repeated in 2018, helped spark the #MeToo movement in the Hindi film industry, Variety reported. The story begins with a serial killer known as âFather Sunday,❠played by John Leguizamo, whose crimes were staged to evoke the martyrdom of Roman Catholic saints. âJohn Leguizamo plays a serial killer who Scarlett apprehends very early in the story, and sheâs there to witness his execution, which doesnât go exactly as they expect it to,❠Flanagan told Esquire. The killings do not stop with that execution, and Sasha Calle plays fellow homicide detective Gina Restrepo.

Two priests round out the main cast. Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Father William, a career prison chaplain who presided over Father Sundayâs execution and has since fallen into a crisis of faith, according to Flanagan. Laurence Fishburne plays another priest familiar with ancient rituals, who is brought in when the case reaches Millerâs own family, Esquire reported.

Flanagan, known for âThe Haunting of Hill House❠and âMidnight Mass,❠described the film as a blend of genres. âHow can we explore those ideas in a serial-killer thriller in a way that starts to combine these subgenres a little, that takes what we love about a movie like Se7en or The Silence of the Lambs and combines it with what we love about a movie like The Exorcist?❠he said. Ingrid Carlberg, the Swedish Academyâs permanent secretary, said she reached Carson by phone shortly before the public announcement. Well go back and forth, as well as to the east coast as required and to our Santa Monica offices for animation. Deadline reported that the settlement of the state attorneys generals lawsuit over the merger requires the company to keep both the Paramount and Warner Bros. lots for at least five years.

Which business goes where has not been settled. Deadline said Ellison would not elaborate, and Variety wrote that no final decisions have been made. The two outlets offered different reads: Deadlines Nellie Andreeva wrote that, based on size, she hears film would likely stay at Paramount in Hollywood with television and streaming at the larger Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, while Variety ventured a guess that the Burbank lot would be the home for feature films.

Under Deadlines scenario, motion picture co-chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein would stay put at Paramount, as would Channing Dungey at Warner Bros. Television and streaming executives including George Cheeks, JB Perrette, Casey Bloys, CBS Studios president David Stapf and Paramount TV Studios president Matt Thunell would face a cross-town move. Deadline noted that streaming operations are now spread across several sites, including HBOs Culver City offices, the Paramount lot and Nickelodeons West Coast headquarters in Burbank.

Money is part of the calculation. Deadline reported that Ellison said real estate optimization, along with technology and procurement, will be one of the primary sources of the companys targeted $6 billion in synergies. For now, Ellison and co-CEO Ynon Kreiz will split their time evenly between the lots. As we begin the integration, well probably spend more time there, Ellison said of Warner Bros., according to Deadline.

Kreiz also described how the two will divide the job. David will focus on creative technology, long-term strategy especially as it relates to the creative part of the business, he said, as quoted by Variety. I will focus more on the operations and the day-to-day management of the business, including integration, particularly the first phase. Variety reported that the pair fielded questions for nearly 30 minutes and that Goldberg and Greenstein will coordinate a combined slate of 35 films in the first year.

The company kept filling out its leadership chart on Wednesday. In a memo to staff viewed by Deadline, Skydance president Andy Gordon named Tony Driscoll president of games and experiences and Josh Silverman president of global products and publishing, and said Jose Turkienicz will continue to lead global operations, including real estate and studio operations. Amy Poehlers Good Hang won the inaugural award in January, and Gold Derby noted that four of last years six nominees are eligible again: Good Hang, SmartLess, Call Her Daddy and The Mel Robbins Podcast. The official list also includes The Joe Rogan Experience, The Megyn Kelly Show, The Tucker Carlson Show, This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von, The Shawn Ryan Show, Crime Junkie, The Daily, Dateline NBC, Pod Save America, Pardon My Take and The Bill Simmons Podcast.

Some familiar names did not return. Deadline reported that 20/20, 48 Hours, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard and The Ben Shapiro Show are no longer eligible, and Gold Derby added NPRs Up First and Candace to the list of six departures. Gold Derby noted that Armchair Expert and Up First were both nominated last year.

Luminate picks the top 30 qualifying shows using criteria that include audience reach and engagement, revenue and chart rankings, based on data pulled directly from the platforms, according to Deadline and Gold Derby. Making the list does not guarantee a spot on the ballot: the Golden Globes said eligible podcasts have until Oct. 30, 2026, to submit, and submission is mandatory. Deadline disclosed that Luminate is owned by its parent company PMC, which co-owns the Golden Globes.

From there, voters decide. Gold Derby reported that nomination ballots go out Nov. 16, six nominees will be announced Dec. 7, and the ceremony will air Jan. 10, 2027, on CBS and Paramount+ with Nikki Glaser hosting. Last years nominees were Armchair Expert, Call Her Daddy, Good Hang, The Mel Robbins Podcast, SmartLess and Up First, Deadline noted.

Inside Radio framed the expansion as a sign that podcasting has become a permanent part of the awards show. Gold Derby also observed that last years voters favored actor-hosted and newsmaker shows over political podcasts, leaving open whether the bigger field changes that. According to Digiday, Mann and the events organizers want the introductions made at the conference to produce $100 million in creator-brand business within 12 months, measured against creator budgets that hand-picked brands confirmed before the doors opened. The Drum reported that, for Mann, the figure is less about closing $100 million worth of deals during the week and more about creating the conditions for them to happen. The conferences opening session was titled The $100m Creator Challenge with Dhar Mann, according to the Advertising Week schedule.

People will meet people during this week that they otherwise would not have met in order to get those deals to happen, Mann told Digiday. I understand brands allocate Q4 budgets in Q1 or Q2, theyre not suddenly going to unlock dollars that did not exist. He told The Drum he wanted to move past talking points: I didnt want to have 47 slides on authenticity. I wanted to actually show deals being made and happening in real time.

The programming is built to force those meetings. Digiday reported that it includes a creator challenge with seven tasks that could earn a golden Zillow key, a Masked CMO segment hosted by Nick Cannon, invite-only creator karaoke with Christina Milian and a deal-making room with Fat Joe and Cannon. The Drum said Manns Creator Day is organized around seven steps for successful creator-brand partnerships and features CMOs from companies including Pepsi, Wendys and the NFL.

Manns pitch to marketers centers on trust. Creators dont just have built-in audiences, they have the thing thats the hardest thing to get, which is trust, he told The Drum. Its something that you cant just pay for ads and get. He told Digiday the knowledge gap runs both ways: when he asked some of the biggest creators in the world to pitch a brand on stage, he said, several replied, Wait, are you serious? I dont know how to do that.

His own company is a test case for that shift. The Drum reported that Mann started making videos in his living room roughly eight years ago and that Dhar Mann Studios now has more than 170 million followers across platforms, a Samsung channel reaching more than 100 million households, 40 vertical dramas in production with Fox and a Disney partnership that puts its content in front of Disney+ subscribers. Mann told Digiday that AI tools have helped the studio roughly double its output, from about four to five hours of content a week to eight to 10.

Industry observers quoted by Digiday largely welcomed the approach. Its really smart, having the matchmaking piece set up where youre actually going to do something tangible, said Brad Hoos, CEO of influencer marketing agency The Outloud Group. Digiday noted that Advertising Week is not typically associated with inking contracts, and the pledge total is Manns own account; no signed deals had been announced. Financial terms have not been disclosed, and MarcyPen declined to comment on the reported talks, TheGrio said. If the deal goes through as described, LVMH would exit the business while Rihanna keeps her own half of the company, according to TheGrio.

The sale process has been underway for about a year. Reuters reported in October 2025 that LVMH had begun exploring a sale of its stake with investment bank Evercore, with sources valuing Fenty Beauty at between $1 billion and $2 billion and putting its 2024 net sales at about $450 million, according to TheGrio and Beauty Independent. In June, Beauty Independent reported that MarcyPen had emerged as a leading contender and was weighing several financing options, including talks with outside investors.

Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 through Kendo Brands, LVMHâs beauty incubator. Its debut lineup of 40 foundation shades forced a reckoning in an industry that had long overlooked deeper skin tones, with competitors expanding their own ranges afterward, TheGrio noted. Beauty Independent reported that the brand has since moved into skin care, fragrance and hair care, and that most of its products are priced between about $20 and $40, in a prestige makeup market that now includes rivals such as Rhode, Rare Beauty and Haus Labs.

The two starsâ business ties go back years. Happi reported that MarcyPen already owns a stake in Rihannaâs lingerie brand Savage X Fenty, and Beauty Independent said its predecessor, Marcy Venture Partners, took part in funding rounds for the lingerie company in 2019 and 2022. Jay-Zâs Roc Nation also represents Rihanna, according to Happi.

MarcyPen was formed in 2024 through the merger of Marcy Venture Partners and Pendulum Opportunities and manages roughly $1.1 billion in assets, Beauty Independent reported. Its founders include Jay-Z, Roc Nation co-founder Jay Brown, DâRita Robinson and Robbie Robinson, and its portfolio includes makeup brand Merit Beauty, the outlet said.

A change in ownership could also affect how the brand reaches shoppers. LVMH owns Sephora, which helped Fenty Beauty scale quickly, and TheGrio noted that it is not yet clear how an investment firm as co-owner would change the brandâs retail presence. Beauty Independent reported that Kendo has been trimming its portfolio, having previously sold KVD Beauty to Windsong Global, and that LVMH was also reportedly exploring options for Make Up For Ever and Fresh. Sources told CNBC-TV18 that the searches are connected to foreign remittances and that premises of certain individuals linked to Prime Focus were also being searched. Business Today, citing AajTak, reported that officials were examining financial records at Prime Focus and at locations associated with the companyâs chartered accountant. Neither the department nor the company has publicly detailed which transactions are under scrutiny.

Prime Focus confirmed the action. In an exchange filing reported by Bloomberg Tax, the company said search proceedings had been initiated at certain offices and were ongoing. âWe are fully co-operating with the officials of the Income Tax Department and are providing them the necessary information, documentation and clarifications sought by them,❠the company said, adding that business operations were continuing as usual.

The companyâs shares fell as much as 8% in Wednesday trading, CNBC-TV18 reported, while Bloomberg Tax put the intraday drop at as much as 9.5%, the steepest since June 2025. CNBC-TV18 noted that the stock had risen 17% this year and that Prime Focus says 92% of its revenue comes from markets outside India.

The timing has drawn attention because of âRamayana.❠Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Malhotra, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol and Ravie Dubey and is scheduled for a theatrical release around Diwali, Business Today reported. Prime Focus Studios lists the film among its current productions. The Times of India reported that Prime Focusâ visual-effects company DNEG is handling the filmâs effects, and that the searches came days after a minor fire was reported near the filmâs sets at Prime Focus Studios in Mumbai.

Business Today reported that the searches follow Income Tax operations in late September at locations linked to actor Rakul Preet Singh, filmmaker-producer Vashu Bhagnani and Panorama Studios over suspected financial irregularities. The outlet said the Prime Focus searches are believed to be connected to documents recovered in those earlier operations. Rakul Preet Singh has denied that the earlier search was connected to her, Business Today noted.

The company has faced other regulatory matters this year, CNBC-TV18 reported. The deal ends the wheel arrangement that has rotated the telecast among ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC since the mid-1990s. According to The Hollywood Reporter, next years show will be the first in the awards 79-year history not to air on a broadcast outlet. The most recent network deal ended with this years ceremony, which aired on NBC and Peacock in September.

Free to watch, worldwide

Both outlets report that Amazon has taken global rights and that the ceremony will be free to watch on the service, whether or not viewers pay for Prime. Academy chair Cris Abrego told Deadline that free access was not up for negotiation, and told The Hollywood Reporter that access had been one of his priorities from the start.

Abrego told both outlets that he saw the end of the network deal as an opportunity to rethink the model rather than simply renew it. Under the wheel, he said, the Academy effectively started over every year with a new network partner, new producers and new brand sponsors. A single home for six years is meant to let the Academy and Prime Video build on what they learn from one show to the next.

What the deal is worth

Official financial terms were not disclosed, and reported figures differ. Deadline said it understands the deal is worth $20 million to $25 million a year, or more than $120 million over six years. Variety, citing sources, reported a license fee of around $15 million a year. Both Deadline and Variety said the broadcast networks had paid roughly $8 million to $10 million a year, and only for U.S. rights.

Amazons pitch

Mike Hopkins, head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement that for nearly eight decades the Emmys have recognized the best storytelling and talent in television, adding that Prime Video is honored to be trusted as the global home for the celebration over the next six years. In his interview with Deadline, Hopkins said Amazon wants to grow viewership, bring in a younger audience and look for ways to innovate in the production itself.

He also pointed to Amazons advertising business and its subscription add-ons, which let Prime Video customers sign up for services such as HBO Max and Apple TV, as reasons the free model can work financially. Many of this years winners are already available to Prime Video customers through those partner services, he noted.

The agreement may bring more Academy programming to the streamer. The Hollywood Reporter said Prime Video could also carry events such as the Hall of Fame and Television Academy Honors ceremony, while the future of the Creative Arts Emmys, which have aired on FXX for more than a decade, is still being discussed.

A first among the major awards

The Emmys will be the first of the EGOT awards to stream exclusively, The Hollywood Reporter noted. The Oscars have announced a move to YouTube, but not until the 2029 ceremony. Variety pointed to other recent shifts away from traditional TV, including the SAG-AFTRA Actor Awards moving to Netflix, and noted that Prime Video already carries the Academy of Country Music Awards. The weekly audio and video series looks at the money, power and decision-making behind different businesses. According to MasterClass announcement, the show starts with two episodes, and new installments will arrive every Wednesday on Apple, Spotify, YouTube and other podcast platforms. People reported the same two-episode launch and Wednesday schedule.

Rogier described the idea behind the show in a statement. Whenever I dont understand how something works, I want to find the person who does and ask the questions people usually dont ask, he said. The real answer is almost always more interesting than the official story. Thats the show.

Martha Stewart on the business of influence

Stewarts episode focuses on influence and the business behind her empire. Variety reported that she talks about becoming the first self-made female billionaire in the U.S., once earning $6 million for a single days work on a commercial, losing nearly $1 billion, and her unlikely partnership with Snoop Dogg, which helped introduce both of them to new audiences.

People said the 85-year-old also walks through what she earned over a career of more than 40 years, from catering and writing to launching her magazine, and reflects on her partnership with Kmart. In the trailer, according to People, she says that deal brought her $65 million a year in royalties. The outlet said her remark about losing about $1 billion refers to the period around the ImClone stock-sale case, which ended with Stewart serving five months in prison.

People also reported that Stewart praises Ballerina Farms Hannah Neeleman, argues that content has to sit at the center of an influencers business, and tells todays influencers that independence matters for women in business.

Who else is on the guest list

The second launch episode features Stanford Graduate School of Business professor Jeffrey Pfeffer on power. Variety said he and Rogier discuss how people gain influence, use status and relationships, and turn power into financial opportunity. Rogier told People that both of his first guests had every reason to give him a safe version of their stories, and neither did.

Later episodes include former FBI hostage negotiator Chris Voss on crisis negotiation, professional poker player Daniel Negreanu on the economics and psychology of poker, and author Malcolm Gladwell on the business of writing, with DJ Drama also slated to appear, according to Variety and MasterClass. Other installments take on whole industries. PwC consumer markets leader Ali Furman and Jefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu will discuss the GLP-1 drug market, and pastor and author Mark DeYmaz will look at the economics of megachurches.

A new format for MasterClass

The launch takes MasterClass further from the polished video courses that built its name. Variety noted that the companys instructors have included Martin Scorsese, Shonda Rhimes, Samuel L. Jackson and Serena Williams, and that its membership now offers more than 200 classes and original series, along with audio-only lessons. In recent years it has added episodic original series on investing, business and emerging technology.
