Oprah Winfrey is bringing a new kind of Sphere night to Las Vegas—less rock residency, more immersive symphony of storytelling, music and spectacle. Titled Aha (also styled AHA), the two-hour experience runs four times across April 2–4, 2027, with Winfrey appearing live onstage to introduce a roster of musicians, poets and artists, according to Variety, the New York Post and Sphere’s official show page.

Variety and the Post, citing the announcement, describe Aha as a “journey of light, sound, music, storytelling, nature and shared humanity.” Sphere’s page frames it as a “visual and musically immersive symphony of senses” for one weekend only. Special guests include seven-time Grammy winner Jacob Collier, poet and author Ocean Vuong, musician Ajeet, and gospel singer Wintley Phipps, among others. The creative team spans musical direction and original music from Oscar-nominated composer Max Richter; Grammy-nominated composer-producer Jon Hopkins; and Grammy-winning vocal director Jason White. Writing comes from Oscar-winning Moonlight screenwriter Tarell Alvin McCraney. Original works feature artist Es Devlin and the Plum Village Monks. Ethan Tobman directs; Baz Halpin produces.

According to the New York Post’s calendar, showtimes are Friday, April 2 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, April 3 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, April 4 at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Variety reports tickets start at $145 and go on sale Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. PT. Sphere’s site confirms mobile tickets only, doors 90 minutes before showtime, and no group rates for this engagement. That compressed weekend structure concentrates demand and travel packages while keeping Sphere’s longer calendar open for other tentpoles.

Winfrey tied the concept to her long popularization of the “aha moment.” In an announcement video quoted by Variety, she said her first Sphere visit sparked the idea: “What if this magnificent space could take us to the edge of the universe and deep within ourselves for an immersive symphony of awe, wonder and joy?” In a press release excerpted by Variety and the Post, she said the dream arrived while watching U2’s Sphere opening, calling the show “the culmination of what I’ve spoken about and worked towards my entire life.”

For Lifestyle and live-entertainment desks, the September 14 reveal is a packaging story as much as a celebrity booking: a global media brand attaching itself to the industry’s most conspicuous venue technology for four tightly scheduled shows rather than a months-long residency. Whether Aha becomes a recurring Sphere franchise will be answered by sell-through after the September 25 general on-sale—and by whether the April house can turn “aha” from a trademarked feeling into a repeatable ticket.
