Netflix “Owning Manhattan” star and broker Ryan Serhant has partnered with AI avatar startup HeyGen to launch @HeySerhant, a daily social channel built from his likeness and voice, Variety reported Oct. 8. PR Newswire carried HeyGen’s announcement of the same multi-platform rollout on Instagram, TikTok and X.

Serhant told Variety his company already produces about 2,200 social posts a month across a brokerage spanning 19 U.S. regions and an in-house studio of roughly 100 people, about 30 of them based with him in New York. The avatar is meant to scale lessons he no longer has time to film personally while still selling, running the business and shooting television.

“I’ve accumulated years of lessons that I don’t always have time to turn into content,” he said. “I do my best, but I don’t always have time anymore. As I run the businesses and I still sell and we still do the TV shows, this gives us a way to make more of that accessible to the people that want to watch it.”

HeyGen chief marketing officer Andrew Mok said in the release that the avatar lets Serhant’s audience hear from him every day without him being on camera for each clip, Variety and PR Newswire both reported. The account will publish at least one video a day for at least 12 months, with Serhant and his team approving topics and messaging so the AI output matches his voice. He expects the deal to extend well beyond the initial year.

Personalized “day in the life” and family clips featuring his daughter Zena will stay on his human-led feeds. “The connection to me and my brand and my life, and people along the ride on my journey — none of that changes,” Serhant told Variety. “This is in addition to, which is awesome and highly helpful.” He compared the move to an industry wave of likeness licensing, citing peers who have struck similar AI image deals for books and film projects.

The collaboration grew after Serhant’s content team watched HeyGen’s output and looked for ways to keep his face and voice present while he travels for showings. “I get very, very interested in how we can add accelerant to what we do and how to scale the one asset that is really, really hard to scale, which is ourselves,” he said. “If you have a brand built around a face, if you have a brand built around a voice, how do you scale that?”

For creators and brands tracking AI-native distribution, @HeySerhant is a high-profile test of labeled synthetic posting at daily cadence on the same platforms where Serhant already holds millions of followers. Every post is labeled as AI, per the HeyGen launch framing carried by PR Newswire and summarized in Variety’s exclusive. Serhant joked that his wife had long told him to replicate himself — “Welcome to the future,” he said.
