Comedian and creator Druski is taking an equity stake in Gopuff and signing a multi-year strategic partnership with the instant-commerce company, Complex and Business Wire reported Friday.

Under the deal announced Oct. 9, Druski will help Gopuff launch exclusive products and fan experiences aimed at his audience while expanding the brand’s reach through his Coulda Been Records and 4Lifers Entertainment companies. Gopuff, for its part, is positioning the collaboration as a build-and-distribution partnership — pairing a creator’s IP and audience with the company’s merchandising, retail, and delivery network rather than a one-off ad buy.

“Gopuff has always been my go-to platform, so partnering together felt like a natural next fit,” Druski said in the announcement covered by Complex’s Joe Price. “I’ve watched Gopuff redefine the commerce industry and I’m proud to bring my creative ideas to the table and work together with the team to deliver unique products and experiences for their consumers.”

Yakir Gola, Gopuff’s co-CEO and co-founder, framed Druski as someone who “has created an entire entertainment universe by understanding culture and connecting with his audience in a way that feels authentic,” calling the arrangement “a true creative and commercial partnership.” The company said Druski joins a talent roster that already includes Tom Brady, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Cole Palmer.

The equity-backed pact deepens a relationship that started with a lighter touch. Druski previously appeared with Brady in Gopuff’s “HARD PASS” campaign for the Super Monday Off Coalition, which pushed to make the Monday after the Super Bowl a national holiday. That spot now looks like a trial run for a longer commercial relationship built around product development and distribution, not just a celebrity cameo.

For creators, equity-plus-distribution deals are becoming a louder signal that platforms and consumer brands want ownership-aligned partners instead of pure sponsorship. Druski’s path — from viral comedy sketches to BET Awards hosting and branded commerce — mirrors how top influencers are turning audience trust into operating businesses. Gopuff’s pitch is that it can move an idea from a piece of content to a physical product delivered to customers’ doors, a model that sits squarely at the intersection of entertainment and retail.

The timing also fits Druski’s broader entertainment footprint. Beyond viral sketches, he has hosted the BET Awards, stepped into NFL/YouTube flag-football and other crossover moments, and built company brands that can carry merch and experiences without waiting on a traditional studio greenlight. Gopuff’s model — product development plus last-mile delivery — gives those brands a retail pipe that most creator merch drops still lack. That is the strategic bet Friday’s announcement is selling: not another Super Bowl commercial cameo, but an operating partnership where comedy IP and instant commerce share upside.

Financial terms of the equity stake were not disclosed in Friday’s release. What is clear is the intent: exclusive drops, audience-first experiences, and a multi-year runway for both sides to test what creator-led product lines can sell at instant-commerce speed. Verification: Equity stake, multi-year scope, exclusive products/experiences, Coulda Been Records and 4Lifers Entertainment roles, and Gola quote are from Business Wire (Oct. 9). Druski quote, prior Brady “HARD PASS” collaboration, and Oct. 9 timing are from Complex (Joe Price, Oct. 9).
