Mirzapur: The Movie has crossed the ₹200 crore India nett milestone, with trade analyst Taran Adarsh putting the Hindi version at ₹203 crore in its second week. The Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment release, directed by Gurmmeet Singh, is the fourth Hindi film of 2026 to clear that mark, NewKerala reported via ANI on Sept. 17. The theatrical adaptation of the popular crime franchise opened Sept. 4 and has kept audiences locked on the fight for the Mirzapur throne.

Week-two Friday-through-Wednesday collections totaled ₹50.45 crore, Adarsh said, with a day-wise split of Friday ₹9.50 crore, Saturday ₹13.30 crore, Sunday ₹13.10 crore, Monday ₹5.60 crore, Tuesday ₹5.25 crore, and Wednesday about ₹3.70 crore. Those midweek softens are typical for week two, yet the cumulative Hindi nett still pushed the title through the psychological ₹200 crore barrier that separates solid hits from true industry conversation pieces. Franchise familiarity, multiplex density in Hindi belts, and steady word of mouth after the Sept. 4 open all helped the film absorb the expected weekday fade without losing its milestone path.

Tracker Sacnilk had the film at ₹199.45 crore India nett after Day 13, when it collected about ₹3.75 crore net across nearly 7,000 shows—a roughly 32 percent drop from Day 12’s ₹5.50 crore. Sacnilk projected a Day-14 breach of ₹200 crore on a pace comparable to landmarks such as Chennai Express, The Kashmir Files, and Bharat. Adarsh’s updated week-two tally confirms the film is now past the threshold at ₹203 crore Hindi nett, aligning the trade wire with the tracker’s near-miss checkpoint.

Occupancy cooled after a discount-fuelled Tuesday bump. Sacnilk put Day 13 overall Hindi occupancy near 16.5 percent, with morning shows especially soft, and noted the title briefly slipped out of BookMyShow’s daily top five after selling about 58,000 tickets that Wednesday. National chains still contributed meaningful gross—PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis among them—while overseas Day-13 intake of about ₹1 crore kept the worldwide gross near ₹287 crore at that checkpoint.

Pankaj Tripathi reprises Kaleen Bhaiya, Divyenndu returns as Munna Bhaiya, and Ali Fazal plays Guddu Pandit as new contenders enter the conflict. Written by Puneet Krishna and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani as co-producers, the film leans on franchise loyalty rather than a single marquee star. Clearing ₹200 crore India nett in week two shows how far that streaming-to-cinema bet has already traveled—and why the Mirzapur brand remains one of Hindi cinema’s steadiest mid-September stories.
