Elle King Marries Dan Tooker in Rustic Tennessee Wedding
Elle King wed tattoo artist Dan Tooker in a woodsy outdoor wedding in Tennessee, captioning her photos “Husband and wife. Best day of my life,” per People and Billboard.
Elle King is a married woman. The “Ex’s & Oh’s” singer wed her longtime partner, tattoo artist Dan Tooker, in a rustic outdoor ceremony and shared the news on Instagram on Sunday, Oct. 4, People and Billboard reported. Billboard described the celebration as a woodsy outdoor wedding in Tennessee held over the weekend.
“Husband and wife. Best day of my life,” King, 37, captioned her carousel of photos and video from the day. According to People, a representative for King did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The images showed King in a fitted ivory satin gown with a plunging neckline and a long train, according to both outlets, and People added that she paired the look with a sheer veil. Tooker wore a dark double-breasted suit with a black shirt. People noted a white boutonniere, while Billboard pointed to a large, dangling silver brooch pinned to his lapel. Other frames showed King walking down the aisle and sharing a quiet moment with her new husband, and Billboard said one slide was a silent video of the couple’s first kiss.
Tooker posted more scenes from the day on his Instagram Story, including videos posted by guests and loved ones, People reported. Billboard said his Story showed King slipping a ring onto his finger, the newlyweds singing a karaoke version of Paul Simon’s “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover,” and what appeared to be their first dance. The cake got its own spotlight: People described a moss green cake with floral accents topped with miniature fondant figures made to look like the couple. Billboard reported that the reel also featured the house band playing a mariachi cover of Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and ended with King smashing cake into her husband’s face to Al Green’s “Love and Happiness.”
The couple’s two sons were part of the day as well. People reported that one video showed King and Tooker walking with Lucky Levi, 5, and Royal, 19 months.
The wedding caps a relationship that has had its share of turns. According to People, King met Tooker in 2019 when she stopped by his shop for a new tattoo. The two got engaged in October 2020 and welcomed Lucky Levi the following year. King confirmed in 2023 that they were taking time apart, then told People in September 2024 that they had reconciled. “We’re back together,” she said at the time. “We had to grow.”
In that same interview, King said they had realized they already had what they wanted. “We have everything that both of us have ever wanted right here,” she told People. “This is worth all the effort in the world.” Their second son, Royal, was born in February 2025. In a Father’s Day post in June, King called Tooker “the love of my life,” People reported.
King was previously married to Andrew Ferguson from 2016 to 2017, per People. The Independent notes that she is the daughter of actor Rob Schneider and former model London King. For more celebrity headlines, visit our Daily News page.
