In a recent interview, Sharon Osbourne bravely opened up about a difficult time in her life nearly a decade ago, revealing that she faced thoughts of suicide after discovering her husband Ozzy's affair.

The 71-year-old spoke about the emotional pain she felt upon learning about Ozzy's four-year affair, highlighting the deep impact of such personal revelations. "When he knows the name of the person, where they live, and where they work… it is a whole different thing as you are emotionally invested," she shared.

Admitting to reaching a breaking point, Sharon recalled feeling overwhelmed by the situation, stating, "I just thought, ‘My kids are older, they are fine and can take care of themselves.’ So I took an overdose and locked myself in the bedroom."

The incident came to light when the maid tried to enter the room for cleaning and discovered Sharon's attempt to take her own life—a desperate plea for help that couldn't be ignored.

Sharon uncovered the details of Ozzy's infidelity by going through his emails, revealing a four-year affair that strained their marriage. This revelation led to a temporary separation, with Sharon asking Ozzy to leave their home.

Confronting the harsh reality at the age of 63, Sharon reflected on her life and made tough decisions. "I’m 63 years of age, and I can’t keep living like this… I’ve been avoiding looking at any pictures or reading anything. I know what’s going on."

Despite the painful details of Ozzy's affair involving six women, the couple managed to reconcile. Over time, their relationship not only survived but thrived, with Ozzy publicly acknowledging Sharon as a guiding force in their journey towards healing.

In 2019, Ozzy expressed deep gratitude for Sharon's forgiveness, going so far as to call her a "god" in his life. He admitted his mistakes, saying, "Sometimes I sit there and go, ‘What the f–k was I thinking?’ I won’t understand why it happened until the day I die." This candid revelation sheds light on the strength and resilience that ultimately brought the couple back together.
