In an interview with GQ while promoting Dune 2, Brolin revealed how Ruffalo came to his rescue when he forgot his lines on set. Recounting the moment, Brolin explained that during a scene where Thanos was lying on the ground with cameras focused on him, he suddenly drew a blank. With actors like Ruffalo and Don Cheadle present off-camera, Brolin turned to Ruffalo for assistance.
In a humorous exchange, Brolin asked Ruffalo for his line, to which Ruffalo humorously responded, "I don't know." Persisting, Brolin urged Ruffalo to recall, eventually receiving the needed line. Reflecting on the incident, Brolin couldn't help but marvel at Ruffalo's impeccable memory and dubbed him the "nicest human being in the world," citing it as his favorite memory from the Endgame shoot.
