Olivia Colman, Gigi Hadid Walk Miu Miu’s ‘Here and Now’ Show

Miu Miu packed its Spring/Summer 2027 runway with actors on Sunday in Paris. Olivia Colman, Emma Corrin, Jamie Bell and Igby Rigney walked alongside Gigi Hadid in a collection Miuccia Prada called “Here and Now,” according to W Magazine and CR Fashion Book, which both reviewed the Oct. 4 show.

The show was held at the Palais d’Iéna, which W Magazine said had been bathed in royal purple, with chocolate-brown seats turned into makeshift bleachers. CR Fashion Book described the space as a purple court marked with white lines and ringed by bleacher seating. The sports-arena setting fit the collection’s focus on athletic clothes.

“It was the idea of being in the moment, in the time, and seeing everybody dressing in sportswear, and then I thought to lift up the sport; to bring elegance to the sport,” Prada said after the show, per W Magazine. The looks paired everyday staples like sports bras, gym shorts, sweater vests and wool skirt suits with crystal-covered bra tops and shrunken, 1960s-style bejeweled silk minidresses. W Magazine also pointed to T-shirts with contrasting collars in tangerine and purple, python-textured skirt suits, polka-dot halter tops that looked like tied silk scarves, and track pants worn with wool blazers. The show notes, quoted by W Magazine, spoke of a “recontextualization” that comes from “elements of beauty, refinement, and elegance, applied to the clothing items that define a quotidian wardrobe of now.”

Much of the clothing was made to look lived-in. CR Fashion Book reported that wax-coated suede was given a cracked, creased finish, and that metallic fibers helped satin hold its wrinkles, making eveningwear feel more relaxed. Crossed lacing took the place of standard closures on denim, pleated skirts, cocktail dresses and shoes. “I fell in love with the stringing,” Prada said, according to W Magazine, which noted that low-slung skirts came with contrasting waistbands and shoelace-like bows, and that the laces also showed up on jeans made from vintage upcycled Wranglers.

Footwear continued Miu Miu’s partnership with New Balance. CR Fashion Book said this is the fifth chapter of the collaboration and centers on the RC150 racing shoe, named for its original 150-gram weight and remade in technical mesh. Just Jared, citing Miu Miu’s cast list, reported that the lineup also included Noah Jupe, Chandler Kinney, Katherine Waterston and Liu Wen, and that Colman wore a leather skirt suit with flats. Louisa Jacobson, Meryl Streep’s daughter, and Ella Bleu Travolta, John Travolta’s daughter, also walked.

The front row was just as starry. Just Jared listed Maude Apatow, Alexa Chung, Janhvi Kapoor, Joey King, Kate Mara and Lili Reinhart among the guests. CR Fashion Book said the actor-heavy cast continues a Miu Miu tradition, and W Magazine said the mix of retro prints, bold skirts and crystal embellishment brought back some of the maximalism longtime fans of the house love.
