TikTok used its Creators Summit in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 24, to showcase new TikTok One tools for brand–creator deals, including AI creator search, a platform payment rail that pays creators within 30 days, and an invite-only “Plus” label for vetted creators, NetInfluencer and Publish Press reported.

Hosts framed the session around audience fit rather than follower count alone. Creator AI Search lets brands filter creators by audience, niche and past post performance, while a creator marketing agent accepts a plain-language brief — NetInfluencer cited TikTok’s example of a car brand planning a road-trip campaign with dogs — and returns matching profiles.

Once a match is found, TikTok One offers four buy paths: a fixed-fee Custom Collab, a Branded Buzz hashtag campaign paid from a shared reward pool, a Creative Challenge that shares ad spend when a creator video runs as an ad, and the Spark Opportunity Program that promotes an existing post as a Spark Ad, according to NetInfluencer.

TikTok One Pay is the new payment system built into the hub. Advertisers pay through the platform, and TikTok handles invoice-to-transfer so creators are no longer chasing brands for checks. Creators are paid within 30 days of a video posting, with no TikTok transaction fee or commission — creators keep 100% of what they earn, NetInfluencer said.

For readers following creator platforms on Influencers, TikTok One Plus is the invite-only tier for creators TikTok considers high quality. Members get exclusive brand opportunities and extra pay on top of TikTok One deals, including 15% more on Custom Collab work with no extra deliverables and no added cost to brands. Brands can find members via a “High-quality content creator” recommendation tag, NetInfluencer reported. Publish Press, reporting from the same LA summit, said several TikTok executives encouraged creators to keep profiles updated with their best work so brands can discover and hire them through TikTok One.

Eligibility for Plus, per the company briefing covered by NetInfluencer, requires creators to be 18 or older, live in the U.S. or Mexico, hold at least 100,000 followers, and keep a personal account in good standing. Invitations arrive by email.

TikTok’s own performance claims underscored the pitch: creator content on TikTok draws 52% higher click-through rates than non-creator content, brand memory roughly doubles when fit and creative both land, and creators earning through TikTok One are up 90% year over year, NetInfluencer reported. A second campaign with the same creator almost always beats the first, the company said.

Hyundai’s agency Canvas Worldwide offered the summit’s clearest case study. Karen Ram, VP of Social Content and Strategy, pointed to creator-led openings that still sounded like the talent’s usual voice — including a long-running collaboration with food critic Keith Lee. According to the agency’s Shorty Awards entry cited at the event, the first Lee campaign drew 29 million video views and a click-through rate 645% above Hyundai’s benchmark, plus more than 4 million TikTok search views in a week, NetInfluencer said.

Publish Press said about 350 creators gathered alongside select brands and agencies for a day focused on monetization and brand partnerships. Six creators appeared on NetInfluencer’s stage rundown, spanning tech, film trivia, culture comedy, food, LIVE baking and TikTok Shop. The broader message for brands was operational: search by audience, pay inside the platform, and surface vetted creators with a Plus label — tools aimed at making TikTok One the default desk for creator partnerships rather than a side channel.
