Nayyi Navelli Trailer Set for Sept. 30 With Yami Gautam

Makers of Yami Gautam Dhars horror comedy Nayyi Navelli are set to unveil the film’s trailer in Mumbai on Wednesday, Sept. 30, with a large-scale welcome planned for the actress, Bollywood Hungama and Box Office Worldwide reported.

According to Hungamas exclusive, the event is expected to mark Gautam Dhars first major public appearance after receiving a National Award, with roughly 250 dhols planned as part of a celebratory welcome. The Sept. 30 date also gives Amazon MGM Studios, filmmaker-producer Aanand L Rai, and the actress their first joint promotional beat on the project, Hungama noted.

Box Office Worldwide separately confirmed the trailer launch timing and said the film is locked for a theatrical release on Oct. 16, 2026, in the Dussehra holiday frame. Directed by Balaji Mohan and backed by Rai and Himanshu Sharma under Colour Yellow with Amazon MGM Studios attached, the cast includes Gautam Dhar and Addinath M Kothare, with supporting players such as Sunita Rajwar, Mita Vashisht, and Aaditya Kulshreshth, the trade outlet reported.

The film is billed as a fantasy-leaning horror comedy with family-drama stakes. A teaser earlier framed Gautam Dhars character Mohini entering a household amid daayan”-tinged whispers; the campaign song Bhabhi Tabaahi — composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar with lyrics by Vayu and vocals by Neeti Mohan flipped that intrigue into a festive Muh Dikhayi spectacle, Box Office Worldwide noted.
