Influencer marketing platform Later said Thursday it has integrated YouTube’s Creator Partnerships API so brands can pull first-party audience and campaign performance data into the same system that drives creator recommendations, PR Newswire reported, as YouTube continues widening partner access to the same Creator Partnerships toolkit across additional campaign platforms, according to Storyboard18.

Later’s Boston announcement said the hookup is already live across more than 300 campaigns and 70 brands. The company framed the move as closing a measurement gap unique to YouTube: long-form and Shorts videos keep earning views, consideration, and conversions after a paid flight ends, so marketers who stop attributing at campaign close undercount return on investment. Later EdgeAI, its predictive engine, is designed to keep scoring that longer window and feed it back into discovery and budget decisions in near real time, the release said.

Features listed in the announcement include always-on search across more than 3.5 million YouTube creators with content and performance metrics; channel-wide demographics and interest signals drawn directly from YouTube into EdgeAI models; automated binding of campaign videos to deliverables without manual tagging; and deal-level reporting that combines organic and paid views in one view. Later said the news follows its decision weeks earlier to bring affiliate network Mavely under the Later brand, completing what it calls a full-funnel path from creator discovery to completed sale.

CEO Scott Sutton said the company is connecting creator, content, and commerce data across Meta, TikTok, Later Creator, and now YouTube so brands can select talent on evidence rather than guesswork and so creators benefit when performance is clearer to buyers. Later cited its own survey of more than 1,000 U.S. consumers finding that 94% visit YouTube regularly and 51% say they are on the platform several times a day, with 55% of marketers planning to increase YouTube spend this year, per the PR Newswire release.

Industry coverage of YouTube’s Creator Partnerships API has described it as partner-access rather than a fully public self-serve interface, with tools spanning creator search, campaign management, analytics, and linked-video performance. Storyboard18’s reporting on YouTube’s wider API push underscores why agencies and platforms are racing to wire first-party YouTube signals into their own recommendation stacks rather than relying on screenshots and spreadsheets.

Later said it already runs YouTube creator campaigns for brands including At Home and Jollibee and has collaborated with YouTube on programs such as the Made You Look executive series and sessions at Cannes Lions. Through Later, the company said brands such as Nike and Unilever can build campaigns against conversion data drawn from roughly 20 million creators, $3 billion in creator-attributed sales, and more than 3,000 retailer integrations—figures the company attributes to its own platform totals.

For creators and brand marketers following the desk on Influencers, the Later–YouTube integration is separate from today’s earlier Fortnite Icon Series and Made on YouTube tool launches already live on the site. This piece stays on API-backed discovery, deal-level ROI reporting, and how affiliate and influencer workflows are being pulled into one measurement layer.

As YouTube spend rises and videos continue to perform after flights end, platforms that can prove creator ROI in one dashboard are positioning themselves as the default buying layer for long-form and Shorts campaigns alike. Later’s Thursday release is the latest proof point that creator selection is becoming a data product, not a spreadsheet exercise.
