UV Films has unveiled the first look of Pratap, a Hindi thriller starring Amit Sadh as a decorated encounter specialist who finds the law turning against him, and locked a theatrical release for November 20, 2026, Bollywood Hungama reported. The poster puts Sadh in a commanding cop stance, gun drawn against a fractured-glass backdrop, under the tagline “This Time, The Target Is Within.”

Written and directed by Sachin Saraf and produced by Pradeep Rangwani under UV Films, the film follows an officer whose world collapses when he lands on the wrong side of the system he once enforced. The premise leans into duty, loyalty, and the blur between hunter and hunted—familiar thriller DNA pitched with a star who has built a reputation for intense, grounded performances rather than glossy heroics.

The ensemble deepens the stakes: Esha Deol, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Milind Gunaji, and Seema Biswas join in pivotal roles, with the first-look art assembling principal characters through the same shattered-glass treatment, Adgully noted.

The design telegraphs a layered conspiracy without spoiling the central turn that flips Pratap from enforcer to quarry, and the supporting names signal a film that wants procedural weight as much as star heat.

November 20 places Pratap in a crowded late-year theatrical window, when big Hindi thrillers often chase festive and year-end footfall against holiday tentpoles and awards-season imports. For Sadh, the project continues a run of roles that trade glamour for grit; for UV Films and Rangwani, the first look is an early marketing stake in a cop drama selling moral whiplash as much as set-piece tension, the kind of mid-budget adult thriller exhibitors still need between franchise weekends.

With the poster and date now public, Pratap enters the autumn conversation as a title to watch on the November slate—Sadh as the encounter specialist who becomes the target, a veteran supporting cast, and a tagline that promises the threat is coming from inside the house. The next milestones will be a trailer and music drops that test whether the fractured-glass intrigue converts into advance bookings.
