Valentino turned Paris's 19th-century Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève into a runway on Oct. 4 for Alessandro Michele's spring/summer 2027 "Antibiblioteca" show.

Guests were asked to bring a book, which WWD said was collected for donation. The title nods to Umberto Eco's "antilibrary" of unread books, WWD reported.

Michele went maximalist, from power blazers with lace cycling shorts to a fuchsia satin column with a pleated rosette train, as Valentino swung to a 103 million euro loss, WWD noted.

Illustrative library reading room, green lamps, books, rosette and bow — not the actual venue, runway looks, guests, or brand imagery.
