A Russian drone struck a railway platform in Dnipro on Thursday, Oct. 29, killing at least 14 people, regional chief Oleksandr Hanzha said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
Ukrzaliznytsia said the drone hit a platform where train No. 866, running from Dnipro to Zaporizhzhia, was standing, Ukrainska Pravda reported.
President Volodymyr Zelensky called the strike “horrific” and said sanctions on Moscow “must not be eased for as long as this Russian war continues,” DW and RTÉ reported.
