Colombia's Attorney General's Office confirmed that Wendy Durán, a content creator jailed in Cali, was born in Manhattan and holds Colombian citizenship, the New York Post reported.

In the search, authorities found 977 rounds of 5.56-caliber ammunition, a U.S.-made Colt rifle and two Glock pistols, El Tiempo reported, citing the Attorney General's Office.

A prosecutor charged Durán with manufacturing, trafficking and carrying firearms and ammunition, and a judge ordered her held in detention, El Tiempo and Caracol Radio reported.
